BimCOM is a diagnostic tool compatible with BMW vehicles, including MINI and other brands. The kit consists of a smart diagnostic adapter with USB connection and a program for the Windows operating system.  The advantage is the background of the manufacturer Secons from the EU and unlimited updates included in the price. Technical support from the manufacturer is an advantage – if you find that a driver is not supported or a function does not work as expected, you can contact us or the manufacturer directly.

The supplied OBD II cable includes two multiplexed ISO9141 K-Lines and L-Line interfaces, high-speed CAN-BUS, and measured analog circuits. Supported protocols include K1, KW-71, DS-1, DS-2, KWP2000* (KWP2000-star), KWP2000, BMW-Fast, D-CAN/KWP, and UDS ISO14229.

Supported vehicles

The program can connect to control units using ISO9141 K-Line, CAN-BUS, K1, KW-7 and other protocols, i.e. all vehicles with OBD-II diagnostics (since 1996). BMW, MINI and other brands are supported. The program can connect to any control unit on the ISO9141 K-Line and CAN-BUS, K1, KW-71, DS-1, DS-2, KWP2000* (KWP2000-star), KWP2000, BMW-Fast, D-CAN/KWP and UDS ISO14229 and display identification, read and clear the error memory. It displays detailed measured values for all important control units.

Support for new models is constantly being expanded. Based on user suggestions, the requested functions are added according to priority. For example, it supports the X5, X6, X7, Z3, and many other models. A detailed list of all supported vehicles and units can be found on the the manufacturer's website.

Supported operating systems

Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10, 11 – 32- and 64-bit versions. Linux support (requires Wine emulation).
