TPMS Starter Pack
Code: 2840Product detailed description
TPMS solutions have never been more affordable. The starter pack includes a TPMS90 sensor programming device and 4 sensors of each type - with a silver aluminum valve, black aluminum valve, and black rubber valve, making it the ideal way to get started with TPMS valve programming. More than 99% of vehicles to date are supported, and they are the perfect replacement for original TPMS sensors in OEM quality.
Become a TPMS specialist
We work with TPMS sensors ourselves. We have prepared instructions and videos that are available free of charge and will help anyone master sensor programming and initialization – all the information you need is clearly laid out in one place.
If you still need help after watching the tutorials or are interested in an individual offer, don't hesitate to contact us. We will advise you by email, phone, or in person.
Sensor programming
Programming valves is not rocket science. The TPMS90 device will show you how to perform programming and subsequent initialization. There are 4 ways:
- Copying via OBD-II – reading the ID from the control unit and then programming it into the new sensors
- Copying by activation – reading the ID from the original sensors and then programming it into the new ones
- Manual creation – manually entering the ID into the new sensors
- Automatic creation of 1–16 sensors with new IDs
While for many cars it is sufficient to create new IDs using method 4, for some cars it is necessary to duplicate the original IDs using methods 1, 2, or 3.
Initializing sensors
After programming the sensors for the correct car, initialization is required for the car to read the sensors. Again, most vehicles have this process fully automated and the sensors are read after driving a few kilometers. However, some cars require manual initialization. You can find out the appropriate method directly in the TPMS90 device.
- Automatic initialization - takes place automatically after approximately 10 km of driving.
- Initialization via OBD - writing the ID to the control unit using the TPMS90 device.
- Stationary initialization – the vehicle must be switched to initialization mode using the TPMS90 device or the vehicle's infotainment system.
